Editing: Editing is the process of selecting and preparing written, visual, audible, and film media used to convey information.
Footage: Footage is film or video footage that can be used again in other films.
Transitions: Transition is what the author shows between two shots or clips.

2. Cross Fade - A gradual fade from one shot to the next

Audio Effect: A audio effect is an artificially created or enhanced sound, or sound process used to emphasize artistic or other content of films etc.

Edit decision list: An edit decision list or EDL is used in the post-production process of film editing and video editing
